LOGLINE: During her daughter’s early boxing career, former champion but now convict Jamie Mitchell secretly undergoes a transformative prison program. As Charlie rises in the boxing world, Jamie's journey unfolds, revealing a powerful tale of resilience, family, and personal growth.


WRITER BIO: Kandace Caine was born in London but lives in Los Angeles. Kandace graduated from Kingston University where she did her Degree in Media and Cultural Studies and Drama. She then studied acting at drama school. After this, she did her teachers training at Goldsmiths University in secondary education. Kandace then wanted to explore writing shows for children. She realized she could help elevate change through kids shows. Recently, WRPN Global Webisode Competition presented her with the Excellence Award for her children’s web series “Kids Learn So Much”. She wrote and created the animated spinoff series “Kids Learn So Much Adventures”. Kandace self-published the book “Kids Learn So Much Adventures” on Amazon in 2020. Kandace co-wrote, produced and directed the Sci-Fi short film “Lion’s Men”, starring Shola Adewusi from the Hit Tv CBS Show Bob Hearts Abishola. Kandace has also written a web-series, television pilot, a feature film and short film, animation kids show, and unscripted shows. Block 28 is the first script she wrote the end of 2020. The script has been a finalist for The Big Apple Film Festival and Screenplay Competition, 8 & Half Film Festival, Hollywood on the Tiber Film Festival, and was 3rd place for Best Pitch at the Mind Film Festival.
